As speculations swirl about a rift between Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his deputy Eknath Shinde, the latter has categorically denied reports of a 'cold war' between them.

In response to speculation about internal tensions, Deputy Chief Minister Shinde took a swipe at the Maha Vikas Aghadi and the INDIA bloc, asserting that there are no tensions within their government.

Citing Eknath Shinde, News 18 quoted, "There is no cold war as this is not Maha Vikas Aghadi or the INDIA bloc. Our war is with the people who are opposing the development of Maharashtra."
